REAPing LCF Benefits

The LASCO ReLeaf Enviromental Awareness Programme (REAP) is an environmental initiative, which targets primary school level children with the goal of facilitating an increase in the children’s participation in environmentally friendly activities and increasing awareness of the lifestyle/environment correlation.

The programme involves tree planting, recycling and energy conservation, gardening, anti-littering campaigns, plastic bottle collection as well as artistic and performing ats components such as dance, poetry, short stories, dub poems, songs and posters.

In December, REAP was introduced to Norman Gardens Primary, Excelsior Primary, and Mountain View Primary schools in the Mountain View communities.
