Inspired by the life and work of our founder and chairman, Honorable Lascelles A. Chin, The LASCO Chin Foundation is dedicated to transforming the lives of Jamaica’s at-risk youth. Our early intervention programmes help to develop the personal and interpersonal relationships, goals and capacities that help our youth fulfill their potential and lead productive lives. Our focus is two-fold: equipping youth between the ages of 18 and 35, with tools to become successful entrepreneurs; and through our schooling support programme, providing students between the ages of 10 and 17 with a range of supporting interventions to assist them over the course of their journeys from elementary to high school, and especially during their high school years.

At the LASCO Chin Foundation, we believe that entrepreneurship plays a key role in enhancing the Jamaican economy. Our SSI Entrepreneurship Programme provides the structured training and support to develop aspiring entrepreneurs along their journey to success.
The SSI Schooling Support
Empowering Futures Through Education
- To achieve success in school by upgrading the educational support in order to achieve the National Standards Curriculum (NSC)
- Strengthen interventions to reduce Truant Behaviours to enable youths becoming productive/contributing members of society

Through strategic partnerships and targeted interventions, we focus on education, environmental sustainability, law enforcement support, and healthcare recognition—key pillars that drive social transformation.
Care Package Programme
Delivering Hope & Relief
At the LASCO Chin Foundation, we believe no family should face hardship alone. Our Care Package Programme provides essential food, household, and personal care items to vulnerable communities across Jamaica, offering immediate relief and a message of compassion.
SSI Entrepreneurship
The SSI Entrepreneurship Programme supports at-risk youths to succeed in business, including in agriculture

The SSI Schooling Support Programme which targets and supports at-risk youths to succeed in school
COVID-19 Relief
Other Charitable Giving which supports charitable assistance to individuals and organizations, this include our COVID-19 Care Package Relief Programme.
