The programme envisioned a two-phased initiative that provided beneficiaries with learn-as-you-earn entrepreneurial training and opportunities to generate income in an intensive street vending programme or other micro-business sales programme for at least six months, in Phase 1. Beneficiaries who have successfully completed the training, beverage starter kits were provided to start their businesses. Following the completion of Phase 1, successful beneficiaries were transitioned to Phase 2 to establish or improve their businesses through a range of hand-holding interventions.

In 2024, we enhanced the LCF SSI Entrepreneurship Support Programme into two tracks: Youth Track and Small Medium Enterprises (SME) track.

• The Youth Track trains at-risk youth between the ages of 18-29 and empower community members by providing access to modern technology, collaborative spaces, and innovative methods for one year.
• The SME track provides a one-year entrepreneurial training and related support services for micro and small enterprises in vulnerable communities to assist them in strengthening and formalizing their operations.
